Please note, as a freelance translator I do not employ or contract work to translators or interpreters and only work with the language combinations listed above.
As a freelance translator, I work for a number of prestigious clients. I have experience translating a broad range of subject matter from interviews, employee feedback and certificates to more technical documents such as medical reports, land ownership papers and engineering based documentation.
Since graduating from a Masters in Translation and Interpreting, I have been working continuously in the field of international medical repatriation, which involves translating complex medical reports and liaising with doctors abroad. Through my work as a freelance translator, I have gained solid experience in translating a wide range of medical and pharmaceutical documents, examples of which include:
Medical reports, Discharge summaries, Clinical drug trials, Accident reports, Patient Information Leaflets (PILs), Patient billing and instructions, Medical and immunisation records, Informed consent forms, Medical claims
For confidentiality reasons I am unable to publish this work on my website, however, in order to prove my translation expertise, I am happy to undertake short test translations free of charge if required.
Professional, high-quality translation
Translation requested by translation agents will always be carried out by me, unless otherwise agreed. Please see the About page for more information on my translation qualifications and experience.
If you have a larger translation project with a tight deadline, Translation Lab also has access to a team of highly-skilled and qualified translators. Translation Lab guarantees that translation is only ever carried out by qualified and experienced mother-tongue translators who belong to professional translation bodies and abide by their codes of conduct.
Make the right choice and place your order with Translation Lab. I endeavour to maintain long and fruitful relationships with my clients.
Even the most diligent writer can make mistakes, which is why getting your documents proofread following translation is so important. Publications that are peppered with errors and typos look unprofessional, cause embarrassment and can lose you real credibility in the face of clients. The savings made through not having your documents proofread will pale in comparison to what you may have to fork out in reprinting costs.
For the international students out there, when your tutor sees how perfect your command of the English language is, following my proofreading service, your university assignments will almost certainly be awarded higher grades.
Changes made to your document can be applied using the track changes option within Word. This shows clearly which sections of a text have been altered. If required, I can provide you with a short report on the quality of the original translation or assignment.
